Hundreds of Hitler pictures from his personal photographer brought to light and put for auction

Hundreds of photographs of Adolf Hitler have been unearthed and are expected to fetch a six-figure sum when they go under the hammer, an auctioneer said today.

Of all the cities to choose, they choose Berlin!!

Rome is nice, Madrid, hmmm, too Spanish, Paris is lovely, erm... then the legs start to stiffen and the jackboots start to twitch, and the arm starts to stiffen. Heil! I know, let's choose Berlin for our headline!

When I met Hitler, Mussolini and saw the devastation at Dunkirk: Astonishing images from a German soldier's photo album

Rare photos taken by a German soldier of the devastated beaches of Dunkirk after the evacuation have been found 70 years on by the family of a British war veteran.

The pictures were taken a few hours after 330,000 Allied soldiers were rescued from the beaches by an armada of little ships having been defeated by the Nazis.

I came upon it by accident. I was searching through shelves looking for something else when it caught my eye. But there it was, a huge, thick, hard-backed, red book – with a metal swastika on the front.

At the time I was accompanied by a photographer from the Discovery Channel and we were carrying out research for a documentary.
